What to do when for the children by Ehlert99

Hello my newly awakened Vampires.

I bet you are wondering what is an effective move to use when your leveling and where to level, well your answers will all be answered in my tutorial.

Let us begin shall we?

I shall cover the two most favorable build choices..

Int/Dex Vampires

Str/Dex Vampires

To start when you first enter the game you will be in Castle Limbo, do not hesitate to go straight into Bathory lair which is right by one of the shopkeepers.

In there you should kill zombies until level 7

:TIP: To get a little extra experience per kill suck thier blood when thier health bar is 1/3 full, Instantly your hp bar will fill up and you will do an efficent amount of damage to them as well.

When your reach level 7 it is time to use your stat points. Try to refrain from using them until your this level since you wont really need them until then.

But If your goal is to be an Int/Dex or Str/Dex vampire then you should start by dumping all your points into Dex, this will boost your defense against monsters and also increase your change of landing a sucessful blow to them.

Now it is time to go to your magic instructor, he is located in Castle Limbo in the north west corner. Learn all the spells he is willing to teach you. Now go back down into the Lair and keep killing monsters until you are level 14. This time put your points into your Int if your going for Int/Dex or Str if your going for Str/Dex now at this point go back the magic instructor and learn the spells that you have achieved the right to learn. This time instead of going back into the lair go talk to the magic instructor and tell him you want to go to Perona.

When you get to Perona you will see a stair case take that and here you will be at your next training area, use the skill Hands of wisdom for it will boost your damage output and help you kill faster. Now from this point on when you gain a level put the points into your main attribute. In other words put it in Str if your going Str/Dex or Int if your going Int/Dex and from this point on your going to want to keep your main attribute about double of what your secondary attribute is, and example of this is if you have 100 Str, keep Dex at 50, and if you get 200 Str, keep Dex at 100, this way your keeping an efficent amount of defense and accuracy but keeping your main damage out put.

Now for Str/Dex vampires you keep training using Hands of Wisdom and after you reach lvl 21, you can go to Perona talk to the guy by the stair case and tell him you want to go to Castle Rasen, here you go staight up and you will enter Castle Rasen, this is where you will train until lvl 37-38 and should have a basic understanding of how everything works.

Now for you Int/Dex Vampires your Int is going to be the key to your power, at your current level you wont be able to dish out as much damage as the Str/Dex Vampires can, But in overall you will have a variety of attacks that will help you throughout the game, at level 27 you will get the spell Paralyze, and so will Str/Dex But only you will make the skill shine, because your chance of successfully casting it will be higher and you wont have to sit there casting it over and over trying to get it to work to freeze your opponent, this skill is very useful if your getting ganged by 2 monsters and you need to stop some of that extra damage coming in. But as you get higher try moving to the skill Acid Touch because your Hit points will be higher and you can afford the extra cost. But for when you train follow what I told Str/Dex to do and go to Rasen Castle, Maybe if you want to do more melee attack instead of magic then at level 32 you can use the skill Transform to wolf, your experience per kill will be lower since you cant suck blood, but you can heal by eating their corpses.

That is the only knowlledge I can offer, if you find your self followed by a slayer and have not reached lvl 42 to use the skill invisible, then try to use Darkness to blind them, then transform to bat to increase your speed so you can get out of their fast.
